ok. i use pledge 'cuase it kicks ass and doesn't smell like,well........vinigar. the persons that turned me on to pledge say they've been using it for years. so who's a pledge fan and who likes the distilled water/ vinegar solution and what else works good.???:cool:

I use nautical reflections from west marine , bit it's ten bucks a bottle. I would like to try to mix my own, who's got a good reciepe?????? Does pledge take the water spots off?

I second that. The spray wax John sells is awesome. Cleans like vinegar, smells good, and leaves boat with a coat of wax on it. I have tried everything and this is the best. I can do a touch up on my 26 in 30-45 minutes, 20 minutes with no beer breaks!!

I mix eagle one wax as you dry in a 16 oz. spray bottle in the following parts
4 oz. eagle one
4 oz. vinegar
8 oz. water
Works like a charm removes spots and leaves a nice wax finish. Add more wax if you havent been using any wax supplements for the first few bottles.

I third this,I was using his products this AM,and let me tell you they are fantastic,easy on and off.

A friend of mine Don has a 26' lavey the boat is called fired up. He sells some type of spray wax also he makes it himself we call D-57.Seems to sell a ton in the channel.

1/ What type and/or brand of Vinegar do you use?
2/ What Vinegar/Water mix ratio do you use?
3/ Do you wax after cleaning?
