I have a voretech on an hp5oo. It works awsome, I love it. But if or when it harms the motor, i'll be pissed. But for now it kicks ass. Between the vortech, labbed prop and a nose cone, I gained 20 mph. Most people like the whipples and have had good outcomes with them. After dealing with Bob Endress at Voretech, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Bob is great and so is his customer service. He'll make time for you and get you dialed in the way you want it.
Shake yo azz= Are coming out this weekend? If so come up to park muabi on sat around 1pm. We'll go for a spin.

2nd Whipple on my 2nd boat. 1st was a 2.3 on a 454 the 2nd is a Q-Rotor on a 565 both fast as hell. I'd put a Max's cap on your drive. (Have Paul Pfaff set you up they to a lot of the HP's);)

The best I have seen is 87 MPH in the winter.
This weekend I ran a 82. It was 110 degrees and I had about 60 gals of fuel and about 700 lbs of people.
I am running a 28p prop and have 1.50 gears....
I tried a 30p and lost a few hundred rpm and a couple mph.
