Ok all you supercharged guys post your hot setups.
Static compression?
Boost pressure?
Displacement?
Heads?
Cam?
Intercooled?
Type of supercharger?
Engine Hours?
Trying to see how many actually run over 8lbs of boost? on 8 to 1 motors. Pump gas.
Thanks in advance.

* 9.3 to 1 compression
* 7 pounds boost
* 509
* GM iron sq port
* Crane hydraulic roller
* Superchiller
* B&M 420
* 50 hours
* 878 hp @ 6000 rpm
I do run av-gas because of the higher compression and I run 34 degrees advance

Nothing better then being able to buy gas anywhere :D :D Without my blower on right now I have 7.3-1 comp so it has been kinda nice to run 87 all the time.. I was thinking that you were not going to last long on 91 and 7 psi without a chiller, good numbers.. :cool: :cool:

Octane? I dunno. I don't worry about it tho.
Fuel mileage? About 1/2 of what you get. But worth it. :D

I am running 2 Teague 1050 HP motors. Specs;
JE 8.5 to 1
11 lbs of boost
4.5 x 4.5 Merlin - 572 Cubic Inches
LA Enterprise Kryptonite Cranks and Carillo Rods
Brodex BB2-X Heads fully CNC ported
Crane Hydraulic Roller. Top secret Cam Grind so I do not know the spec's
Superchiller
Mooneyham 10-71 Blower
Running 32 Degress, advance locked out.
Twin 1150 3 circuit Dominators
85 Hours without a single problem. Rebuild at 250 Hours
I run pump gas and run this boat hard in the poker runs and at Havasu in the heat. These motors don't burn a drop of oil, in fact I have trouble building enough oil temperature. The oil temps never exceed 140 degress even after running at 6,000 RPM for over 20 minutes. Water temp runs 120 degrees. This is one of the reasons I can get away with pump gas at 11lbs of boost.
