I'm getting ready to buy some wheels for my Hd and was looking for info on backspacing. I plan on getting the RCD 6" lift installed in a couple of weeks but want to get the wheels and tires now. I'm still undecided on either 16",16.5", or 17" o.d. As far as backspacing goes most wheels I have looked at are in the 4.5 to 5" range , 9-9.75" wide. Will this clear well with 35" tall (315x70x16"-17") tires without rubbing in turns? Any input from others experience would be great, Thanks.

4 5/8 should be fine. I put the 6" RCD on my 4x4 Suburban, I have 17" wheels with 315's. It looks awsome, wheels don't stick out too much.

Dont get the 16.5 again very limited tire size I have 12.5/ 16.5 / 33 not sure what the back spacing is but it has to be wrong I am fighting a major wheel alingment problem, weld might be able to warrant the wheels. I cant seem to get the wheels balanced correctly. Every time we come home from the river I get the skakes real bad, just took it to a place and they balanced it with the weight on the inside and the out side and it worked, but it looks like shit with the weights on the out side of a 9.75 rim. If I get them to warrant them I will go with a 16x 8:mad:
