Does anybody run an Aeromotive pump?I was wondering about the life expectency of a A1000 fuel pump and what is the difference of the marine and automotive pumps? 502 JET

Do you know how they last and hold up in a boat?

I run the A1000 marine version and bypass regulator. No issues at all. Marine is the same stuff, just anodized black and USCG approved I think. Rex marine sells the marine stuff for close to what Summit charges for the automotive.

I'm about to find out. New for this year. And they are USCG approved. I went with this pump because EFI is in the future. Just have to swap out the regulator.

I believe you can change just the spring in the regulator, when going to EFI.

How many hrs do you have on your system?

Somebody told me once that they were really loud compared to other pumps of the same volume.I went with a big Weldon.

They aren't as loud as the motor.

I dont think I will have a noise problem from the pump with OT headers. 502 JET

My aeromotive lasted about 30 minutes. No warranty.
