Don't know how much of the detail I can tell at this time, but this project is going to be one of the wildest CATS you have ever seen! I've never, in 40 years of boating, seen gel coat like this. Its going to knock all of us over when they finally show it. The manufacturer is known for his gel work, but this is a new high with some real secret shit. And the trailer (made by someone we all know and love) is something so nice, you wouldn't want to pull it down the highway, much less submerge it in water. Maybe the manufacturer will come on and confess what he's been up to. This one you won't believe...

The Flyin Vee's are already pulling their trailer on the road and have gotten it wet a few times....:eek!:

Dammit Dave, how did you scoop this? I'm going back in my cave.
It really is something, isn't it? and your pictures do it justice...

Actually, John West posted all those up about a month ago in the thread linked above. :D

Over the years, he's going to have to trade a ton of Mac tools in exchange for cleaning that trailer. That webbing and those crosses cut into the members are going to be killers to clean.
That's a fabulous boat and the craftsmanship is second to none but I think the entire thing is like a drunken tattoo. It may seem cool now but it may not be the easiest thing to live with down the road.

It's easy to be a day late and a dollar short around here. Nothing gets by the inhabitants of the Sandbar :D

Thanks. You must've seen it on the road yesterday or you were at Freds shop. You're right, the pictures don't do it justice. The boat will be at the San Diego boat show this weekend if anybody wants to see it.

I'm curious about the motor package going in. Any time frame on when the TV show will be on?
