This comnputer does not have MS office on it. I had to go to a University and use their computer lab to do my resume. Well, the format that it is in is not recognized by most peoples MS word. I really dont want to have to go to the University to fix it but will later today if I have too.
Does anyone think they'd be able to put my resume into a more standardized word format for me?

Go to Kinkos. They have computers with office.

What format is it in now? I may be able to convert it to word for you.

It is in word but it is in a word format that noones word seems to be able to read. It is a .doc file.

If the university has the latest greatest version and you try and open it with an older version, it might not work.
You can save the files as earlier versions or a format that you can open in Wordpad etc.
You can send it to Wes or myself and you will be fixed up.

I just looked at the file that you sent with a hex editor and it looks to me to be all binary zeroes. Send it to Froggy as well and see if he can see anything different.

The file is corrupt.
Either when copying to disk or while sending via e-mail
Did you e-mail it to yourself from the University or copy it to a diskette?

Best to save a document like this in PDF format as everyone has Acrobat.

I emailed it to myself.
I'll have to go redo it today. I have it on floppy to but the floppy on this box is really flakey.
