View Full Version : Filter overkill?
I am running a water seperator filter and another fuel filter up by the carb. Is this overkill?

With a stock motor and stock carb it shouldn't be a problem. if its not, you could starve the motor for fuel.

I run the same. PSI at the carb @ WOT (5200) is fine.
That brings me to my next question, what is the minimum psi at WOT?

I run a filter from each tank to water seperator then a filter to carb. clean fuel is happy fuel. I also carry spares on lake in case.
68.3 GPH :eek!: Man you better hook a gas pump to that boat and drag it along, I thought mine ate gas.
