Mine is a 1994 canyon silouette. It was made in 91 but not title until 94, had 6" setback on the motor with a cmc manual jack plate. I made a 14" setback along with the cmc for a total of 20" setback which now caries the front alot better with out much positive trim. Top speed also increased from 60 to close to 70 with min fuel and 1 person on board. Not a speed demon by any means. It also has a open bow so there is lots of room for people, kids and whatever. If this is the same type you are looking at I have not seen another with a clamp on motor. Handles okay in rough water, but not like a deep vee. If you keep it up on top of the slop it rides okay.
