my friend had a boat like that.
Now he did tons of stuff to it. Raised the drive, nose cone and to much other stuff to list.
It ended up with a 355" small block that was a spare IMSA engine. It would turn a 24" pitch 4 blade prop around 7,400 rpm. Thing freakin cooked too. That boat hurt lots of feelings.
BTW, stock it only had a weak 305" engine in it.

7,400 rpm is SICK!! It doen't look like much work as been done to this SBC 350.. One would think he would have listed any, had it been done. No doubt it's a fast boat, but to say it is faster than "ANY" jet... I don't think so..

Yup, old OMC 800. My friends had the same one. It under went a few mods but still had that jack ass trim system.
That was the main downfall of the entier boat. I'll try and find a pic of it.

Isn't this with the gear drive that raises and lowers the sterndrive. Which also happens to break.

I wouldn't worry about blue printing the pump until he finds out if it still floats. Theres got to be a few cracks on hull. Those rocks don't look like they give any on impact.

Yeah I remember those, Jet boat Hull but with I/O . the problem was that Drive was buried & with no way to raise drive on transom because of low freeboard Hull it never reached its potential. did have a Higher top speed but I don't think they were Quicker out of the Hole than a Jet. and with OMC on your transom it really took away from the Cool factor...

Sweet trailer, the decreased friction coefficient of those rollers on the hull should be good for at least 90+ mph:D
