In this months Trailer Boats Magazine there was an article about an 80 acre boat sales center being built in the Tounament Channel at Lake Elsinore. They're saying there will be 300 slips, restaurants and repair facilities. The site will be named WatersEdge and is supposed to be completed in 2005.
Does anyone have any idea if it will house performance boat dealers, or will it cater to the tournament boat and ski peeps.

I read an article about this awhile ago and I swear I remember that Eliminator was gonna be there too.
I could be wrong so if I am, shove it! hahahaha j/k

I was told by Eliminator the same thing abou this facility. My understanding is there will be a large showroom with any number of boat manufactureres represented there. I believe the dealio is that if you want your product displayed there, you pay for the space, or something similar to that. The consumer can walk among the different brands like a boat show, and even take demo rides. Cool concept if in fact it pans out.

boat-related shops
water front show rooms w/ boatslips for test drives
170,000 dedicated to watercraft mall
a later phase of developement will include a 125 room brandname hotel
all this info i poached from an article i clipped last april i think out of the press enterprise-a local elsinore paper. the article was writen by adam eventov i tried to scan this and post it complete with pics but my scanners softwear got eaten or something.
