View Full Version : Bush scraped his knee...

...please pray for him. Our illustrious autocrat has fallen off his mountain bike and scwaped his wittle knee. This is very important since the tree hugging liberals are holding their convention and actually making the news with insane topics such as international relations, health care and the war in Iraq. Hopefully the liberal media will take a minute and let us know if the Prez is using neo-sporine or camphophenique in lieu of this relentless barrage of facts and redeeming intent by the commie pinko libs. Damn Convention is ruining everything!

Bushs' horrible accident is all over the news. It just can't be denied.

Lets see here...
Point 1. If Bush is an Autocrat, water must be running uphill.
Point 2. Damn convention is good entertainment for most conservatives....

XC for life!!!
Obviously, just kidding. DH is cool too. Different thrill.
We ride every Tuesday. If you ever find yourself down here, and have an XC bike around... we have about 3-4 SEALs and Recon guys who ride, and a couple board members too.

Froggy,
The lightest bike I have now is a Santa Cruz Bullet that's 39 pounds. The bike in the pic is a light weight 52 pounds. lol
That pic was taken in your back yard at the bottom of the World Cup by Anderson Truck Trail.
I've ridden noble a few times.
I have lots of friends in your area that ride.

Lake Pirate I'm a bit confused by you. You seem to dislike autocratic policy, yet you also seem to support the most autocratic of our nations parties. What gives. You seem to distrust big government, but you support the party that wants more and more of it. I can understand if you (like me ) dislike authortarian gov and thus dislike Republician politicians. But to then turn and support Dems seems like cutting off your whole leg to cure a bad big toe. What gives? Do you have or follow any particular ideology or do you just hate Bush or what???I mean the Clinton administration's domestic policies were far more autocratic than the Bush administration's, even with the homeland security act. Did you hate him like you do Bush? After all, it's the Dem's who don't seem to trust us to control any aspect of our lives (other than sex) without government regulation or restriction.

I don't necessarily subscribe to every concept the Democratic party decides to tear out of the comic book. I do think they are a far lesser evil. Exactly how is it possible for Slick Willie's foreign policy to be even remotely as autocratic as Herr Buschs "damn the torpedo's war on whatever" and his communistic "home security act?"

Lets see:
From Dictionary.com
Autocratic
A ruler having unlimited power; a despot.
that what you really think? Didn't the House and the Senate have to VOTE authorization for the war? Does that define a Despot?
Communistic
\Com`mu*nis"tic\, a. 1. Of or pertaining to communism or communists; as, communistic theories.
So you think Bush is a Communist? Wow, that's interesting for a person evidentally in favor of Socialism...
What you have laced your post with is rhetoric, plain and simple...

Pretty bad ass on that step up Dave! Great shot too.
Billy Bobcat is in jail for brandishing a shotgun at a mountain biker. It turns out that after the big fire, some crews couldn't get back there to fight it because of that jackass' obstacles. So, some survey crews came out and re-zoned for the truck trail and I guess it is now open again, but only after the obstacles. There is a bypass trail we plan on taking.

We do it because there are rarely any liberals up that high. Take too much work, and there is a payoff at the end.
You see, because liberals only want to ride down the hill. They usually do this for a term or two until a Rep gets elected who has to schlepp all the weight back up the hill. Then, just as they are about to be able to reap all of this crap they have been sewing, the nation pusses out and turns around to ride back down. ;)
I hope you sense the sarcasm... 'cause I am laying it on pretty thick!

That is nuts...
You probably make the rock garden at Noble look easy, huh?
I made it all the way down about a month ago and on my bike... I was as proud as could be. I have personally never seen anyone make it down the meat eater (150 yards of rock garden exiting in a 3' drop to flat 90 degree turn) and for some reason I just "saw the matrix" while bike-hiking down it. It is weird, but I literally saw a line, walked the bike down it and then rode it. I was amazed, and so was everyone in our group.
Then, I come to find out that everyone does it on DH bikes. Such is life... Big fish, little pond! :D

OK here you go...
Fascism
A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
Oppressive, dictatorial control.

What happened, did you get bored watching the mindnumbing collection of buffoons your left-wing liberal party is putting on TV?
Couldn't you get a lawyer to help you make make millions by spilling McDonald's coffee in your lap?
Did you go into shock after seeing your hillbilly ex-President on TV last night?
Did you run out of money after seeing Fearmongering 9/11 a dozen times?
Are you tired from putting that bumper sticker on your car - the one that says, "Got a problem? Throw money at it!"
Are you exhausted from waving that protest sign in front of the military base - you know the one that says, "Liberals don't fight wars they just cut military spending!"
Hey troll, if George Washington was a liberal this would be the United Kingdom.

I said domestic policy. Clinton's forgen policy wasn't autocratic it was wimpy. He was qick to sellout our intrests to be popular with other nations leaders.
His authoritarian domestic policy frightened me. There is nothing in the homeland security act that is authoritarian that Clinton didn't also try to get. Plus Clinton tried to get other powers that the HSC doesn't even contian. If 911 had happened under his watch (instead of just planned and set up) and congress would have givin him everything he and Gore wanted we would be living in a much more authoritarian state than we do now. One simply has to look at the proposed legislation that came out of the White House from 1993-1999 to verify that he was one of the most domestically autocratic presidents in our history. The main differance is that Bush got 90% of the powers he wanted and Clinton couldn't get 90% of what he wanted. But if you look at what Both men have tried to get, Clinton makes Bush look like a Libertarian....

Off the top of my head I can think of some specifics. Take for example one of the more onerous parts of the homeland security act "the roving wire tap" Clinton tried to get and even more vage and authoritarian verson of this in all of his major crime bills, but congeress took it out. He also tried to use the bogus notion of "protectors privacy" to make it so secret service agents couldn't report apparrent wrong doing or testify aginst presidents and thus make them loyal to the prez instead of to the people who hire them to watch the prez. You must rememer this one, since it went all the way to the Supreme Court and it was shot down unamously in record time by them. Then, of course, there were all the phony gun controls and bans he proposed (and in some cases got)....
Plus there was the pattern of use for the IRS.
During the Clinton years every Conservitive group and most every promanent republican supporter was audited every year while prominant liberal groups and individuals were completly left alone. The only other prez in U.S. history to wield the IRS this way was Nixon. Under his administration the liberals were all audited and the conervatives were left alone.
Well gotta go now, perhaps we can play more Hannity and Colms or CNN Crossfire tomorrow....
