1987 Chris Craft???

A friend of mine recently purchased a 1987 Chris Craft from a bank that repossesed it for $7000. I believe it is about 31-32 ft. long, but thats all I know about it, my buddy told me to get online and figure out as much as I can about it.
Details I know:
Twin I/O 454's
Bravo One Outdrives
SS mirage props
and that is about it, I'll attach a pic so maybe someone that knows more about boats can tell me what series or model it is

CRAP... I had a bunch of INFO, but for some reason or another it didnt post. Anyhow the model of the boat is a STINGER. I'll post the info I had again later in the daylight hours.

A friend of mine had one of those. He sold it last year. It had 454 Mags in it. Would run in the low 70's

So I'm assuming these are good boats? The guy who had it before had superchargers on the 454's and he raced it...but because the bank repo'd it he won't talk to the bank or my friend about it, he's being a real jerk.
I do know one of the 454's is sitting in a shop already rebuilt and the other I assume probably will need to be rebuilt just to be on the safe side and keep them equal, and since the both had superchargers on them...but like I said we are both new to Powerboating and would like any info you have specific to the boat or general info on rebuilding marine engines, outdrives, etc.

Chris Crafts of that era had lots of quality issues, and since you claim to be "new to powerboating" please spend the couple of hundred bucks it takes to have a professional survey the boat before you touch your wallet.

are you kidding me. chris crafts where way ahead of there time as far as boat building inovation goes. the 85 31 chris cat is still in production as the 31 ao. same hull for 19yrs. yeah they must have had quality issues.

A 32' Chris Craft with twins for $7,000. How could you go wrong? This is a no brainer. Good find.
Do us all a favor and take a boating safety course before you go out and rip around in that beast ;)

Chris-Crafts are some of the best boats ever built. I would think for your $7000 you stole it.

these engines both had superchargers on them, and one is already rebuilt...should we rebuild the other one or just test the compression and take it out on the water and see if it needs it?
