Decent boat. Bajas are pretty solid built boats. A friend of mine has a 272 that has been good to him. He's had it for a few years now and other then routine maintenance he hasnt had any problems with it.

i had a 98 baja h2x with the 454 mag, it was good for 70 mph with a 26 4 blade. it rode good with the exception of the rear pad that had a reverse chine on it, that made the boat chine walk at WOT. but the boat was built well, and it only cost the normal maintinence to keep it running.
ps i sold mine for 30k in 2003 for my magic, mine was fully loaded with every option that baja offered with 160hrs on mine, so the price might be a bit high. good luck, my baja was a great boat, i just moved onto bigger and better.

What year is it? That seems pretty Cheap. Last year when I bought my boat I looked at some of the Bajas. Almost bought one but decided on my cheaper boat because I knew I was going to make a lot of first time boater mistakes and still wasn't certain how much I'd end up using the thing.
The newer Bajas are in the 30K and up range. 30K being the 21'r. The H2X is like 65-70K and its only a 25.
