Why did you raise the exhaust ports instead of using as S type pipe?

Very nice boat. I think I am going to start looking for a Spectra 20. Couldn't you have just notched the swim step intead of cutting the center out?

I raised the exhaust just for my personal choice and it looks good to.
I did originaly notch the swim platform and it worked ok, but it did severly weakin it and it stress cracked real bad when steping on it. I have since had the cut edges gel coated back in white and now they look factory anyway.

I hope you kept that cool looking green carpet. :D When I purchased my 19 it had some of that cool looking shag carpet in it to only it was faded brown color. Got to love the 70s. Great pics though and love the color of that boat. Still wishing I could have found a 20. Maybe someday.
