Gauges are all wired...
Lights and carpet are next, today..
Engine gets its ss braided hose tomorrow (thanks SuperDave)
Pump gets another coat of paint and installed tomorrow.
Engine and seats on Saturday...
Elsinore for carb jetting on Sunday..
Oh yes... Somewhere in the middle of all of this I will be driving to Lodi and back...
Oh what fun it is...
Tired and sore from all of the sanding, polishing and weird positions...But it is a good tired.

You must be single. My wife would never give me that much time for the boat.

No, but I may be by the time I am done..
Actually, she is wonderful and has been very supportive over the last week or two. Now I think she just wants it done so we can go have fun and she can have me back..

This is Wally_Gator's wife, I can not wait for the boat to be done. The kids and I can't wait to go out and have fun. Just for the record, if Wally wanted to do another boat, I would try to be as understanding as I was and still am on this boat.

That is the bad part... I need to work to make $$$ to finish it.. And I need time to finish it... Never ending circle.
However, only 2 more hours until I am off work until monday..

Unfortunately the pics do not do the boat justice. She is a beauty. I am very proud of all the hard work Wally has done and continues to do on this boat. We will get it done and we will see you all at the C3B.

Ok, Did as roosterwear said and got hard to work after a hell run to Lodi...
Diamond bar and back in less than 13 hours.. That was pretty good considering I bs'd there for over an hour and a half..
Back to the boat...
Carpet is in...
Brand new Place Diverter is installed in the pump and the pump is back in.
hmmm... What do I have left...
Mount my seats, gas pedal, Diverter control and some other misc. hardware..
Wait, can't forget to mount those Rogers emblems..
Finishing up the SS braided lines and ready to hoist the engine back in tomorrow...
And if we had a contest for the ugliest trailer... I might be the winner..
Should be out on Elsinore on Sunday early for some test/tuning..

Hey Wally just noticed that you live in Diamond Bar, I live in diamond bar too. just curious where abouts in DB do you live? I don't have a jet yet, but hopefully I'll pick one up this winter season. by the way thats a sweet looking paint/gel coat job. I'm glad you didn't ruin the boat with some weird, distasteful graphics.

Update,
My brother and I worked ALL day... Details details details..
And there are some things that will not be done for c3b...
Motor is in, two hoses left to put on the motor.
A little wiring and mounting the seats..
Hopefully that won't take too much time in the morn and I will shoot one down to smelsinore...

CANADIAN ROGERS BONNIEVILLE TR
08-08-2004, 06:51 AM
HELP!!! Sure hope anyone out there can help us with the following.
Need to find out how many Bonnieville TR's were made in 1978 and what options were available, what size of engines were available, and if there were any owner's manuals available. We are trying to document our 1978 Rogers Bonnieville TR, which was yellow/orange, had 6 gauges in the dash, and had a 454 BBC pumping around 400 hp from the plant.
Any help with info on our boat would be great, as we are about the only ones in Ontario Canada with a Rogers, hell for that matter we are one of the few with a jet. Thanks

Classes for wives? Hmm that is an idea. Problem is you can't teach that kind of patience and understanding. Wish I could but I can't. But thanks for the idea!!!!! HAHAHA!!!!!

No, I have not been on the water in 1 month or so, just waiting for CBBB, dont want to break anything before it. :) Once I hit the river I am going to break loose. haha
I PMd the guy and he PMd me his number, I tried calling him with no answer. I might just make my own rod like I originally planned.

If I had known that he was gonna sell parts off of it I would have sold you the rod cheap and then delivered the boat. Now the boat is up in Lodi.

Its ok, you didnt know. That rod would probably cost an arm and a leg to ship now, due to size. I am going to mic mine and buy a new rod and thread it.
