Thats sucks $2k is a good chunk, but sounds like a good price. Just glad you are able to make it, cause it would suck to sit at home.

they told me a thrust washer wasnt the proper hardness when it was rebult last time.... so the center of it fatigued and caused the rotor to have a front to back motion and lead to cracking the front and rear bearing case and oil seal went and the oil with it so that took out the gears as well ...so i am gonna sell whats left out of it and hope to get 200 bucks for it .....but at least i have a bigger blower now :)

So what are you doing about the chiller? What kind is it? J540 here on the boards makes a really nice one that basically cant leak water into your motor :)

It is one of mine.I need to get that one back from you so i can check it out. Dave said it had a ton of sand in it. WTF, you have a jet boat, you need to start it up in deep water, when you put it in rev, it kicks up a lot of sand and guess were it go's. right in the pump in the motor and intercooler, Not good.
It was the inlet nipple the broke for some reason. I heard this has happend to Lees turbo coolers as well. Thats why i now make the inlet end tank with the nipple on it all billet alum, And not weld the nipple on.
just so you know the cooler i gave you is still the old style, but should be ok, mine has over 800 gal,of fuel run time --2 yr's on it 12 / 18 lbs boost, and i drive a lot harder than you in water conditions your boat will come apart in, and mine is fine, as well as 35 other ones, but shit does happen,
