Adding a for sale section would probably not be a big help to their goal of selling ads.
I think the idea is that you are supposed to pay to advertise your boat but they will turn a blind eye if smaller items are bought and sold through here, despite it being against the rules.

A for sale forum would be nice. But then they would not make money on advertising.
