It was very difficult reading your post, but I gather that you need a jet-o-vator. That's the part that diverts your jet into a roost. Run a search.

I'm guessing maybe he was talking about a rooster booster.
You can run a droop, that gives you 8 degrees of positive nozzle angle.

You do need a divertor if you don't already have one.
Oh wait, you have a jc? Nevermind the droop wouldn't work. I think the only option you have is the divertor....

They were probably talking about the JC not having the split bowl with the ring of bolts you need to remove to put in a wedge. What's your bowl look like?

Ok, I know the roost looks cool. But is the real function of the jet o vator to correct the attitude of the boat on a plane like trimming an outdrive? Can't you get a ticket for excessive "roosting" ? Just curious.

It is to adjust the attitude of the boat ( quicker planning time and freeing up the hull ) there is no law on a trimming device on a jet drive BUT act like a ass with it and they will write you up for unsafe operation of a boat ! I posted awhile back on this due to a Game Warden asking me not to trim it up and someone here talked with the main office about the law on this .

You need a wedge for that high tail. Squirtcha has pictures for moifying a jet-o-vator. He had one on his kachina that threw one hell of a rooster. I will post pics of mine in a few weeks. i have to get a crack fixed in my hull then i will be out again. i have 2 wedges stacked(6 and 5 degrees). My tail knocks airplaines out of the sky :D :D :D Bigproppa has pics of his old picklefork that had a droop and a rooster booster. Let me tell ya..... He had serious rooost!

I was thinking about cuting the jet but i looked at the jet and im not sure if it will work it looks like if the nozzle gos up any more the bottom of jet will open up and it will not work right. if any1 has a 12jc and has cut it please tell me how u did it and if it still works corectly.if you have any pics that would be great.

I know what you are talking about. It looks like if I modify mine any more it will cause a leak as well. I would take the above advise and go with a droop and wedge. I know that's what I will be doing in the future.

Maybe the problem is that you dont have one of theses guages.
