Hello all' I am new here , I am located in oregon and have a 88 18' Pantera with a panther pump, I just bought the boat last year and have been in the process of rebuilding it, Its been a bunch of years since I have owned a hot boat, 17" stevens [glass over wood] with a 283 chev,, v/dr ,, so I have been out of the boating scene for a while,
My question is ::: do any of you have any opinions on a pantera, and the panther pump?? I had never heard of the pantera untill I bought this one, and the panther pump , I know the hull is in good shape and everything else has been rebuilt, [litterly everthing] any comments would be appreciated,, pro or con,, Thank you for your time, Bill

if YOU like it, its perfect. you will get people coming up with all sorts of comments, just like the old Ford VS Chevy deal. in your case id say have fun with it and enjoy. when and if you want to start racing, then look into a race proven hull and pump. nothing wrong with your stuff as long as it gets you on the water trouble free and you are having fun. maybe someone that knows more about your particular hull can give you info on it.
