Am I missing something or is this pump missing the intake section? Also what is that transmission piece on the shaft? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2486548006&category=26455

I believe that is a bellhousing with a starter attached to it. dont see the intake either but he may have it. E pump is a steep intake angle

Bell housing with the starter mounted away from the motor? I guess that would make it MUCH easier to work on it. Other than that it looks like it would take up more room. That's about where my battery is mounted. I don't think I have ever seen anything like this.

It's an E pump (the intake is paty of the housing) with a 3 point bellhousing.

That's just a pump with a 3 pt. setup, with the bell housing and top mount starter. You don't see many running the Top Mount starter but it's actually a pretty good idea IMO because it helps keep water off the starter and much easier to work on. Also at a good price at $100.00. Personally, I'd pass on the pump, but that bellhousing/starter should be worth the $100.00

The E pump intake is molded into the hull.
The starter is a reverse rotation, they are more expensive and harder to get rebuilt, well worth the money.
