I got mine from Ebay. Brand new in the factory box with the paint already done. The same guy had a bunch of different colors, from the factory. $200 or so. ;)

Make sure you order the correct year for your truck. I order them for a 2003 not a 2004 - turns out the 2004 does not have a key lock on the passenger side and the 2003 does. I now have an empty hole where the lock should be on the passenger door.
Kachina 26, anyway to get just the bucket without the pull or the hardware or do I need to order a whole new assembly? Prices?

Tobtek,
If you find someone who makes a white bezel on for the tailgate handle, let me know.

They guy that did my tailgate...just takes them off, sands and paints them...actually, they use to make a version where the pull was billet, looked just like an escalade handle for the tailgate, but I could not get that one anymore...

I was responding to the $400 quote you got from the first guy. $200 for 4 handles is about right if they come painted.

Try Lake Chevrolet in Lake Elsinore. Ask for parts then ask for internet sales. The internet prices are considerably cheaper. I got mine last year and they were $30 each, but they don't come painted from the factory. You have to have it done or do it yourself. Lightning's right make sure you give them the year. My 04 Silverado crew doesn't have at key on the passenger's door. I watched the body shop install them - what a pain in the ass. Make sure they tighen up all the connections or they rattle. Good luck.

It's not too hard. You just have to pull your door panels off. They are held on by screws in a couple locations, once you pull the screws, the panel will lift up about an inch and then be free.
There are three nuts that hold the door handle in place. I did mine with a 1/4" drive ratchet and extensions. Seems that there was one nut on the front doors that was kind of a pain in the ass.
The lock will come out of your old handle and be used in the new one. There is a spring retainer kind of deal that just pulls out. Just do the reverse on the new handle and the lock will snap into place. It will make alot more sense when it's in front of you and you can see it. I did all 4 of mine in under an hour. It took the longest time to figure out how to get the first door panel off.

Yes, I will be out this weekend. Not leaving until Sat afternoon, so maybe late Sat on the water and then Sunday and Monday. Let me know if you need some help on the install of the door handles. Once you do one set, it takes about 10 minutes a door.

Wow, finally got the best price on something. Got my Escalade handles for $163 new. Of course, it helps when your neighbor owns a salvage yard and has the hook up on parts/lol. I had my handle buckets painted as I have a grey GMC.

OK, installation of the first door sucked! I cut my arm all up trying to get the top left nut off the front passenger door, was bleeding all over the place. ONCE you figure it out, its not bad. And a good tip when reinstalling the door panels is.....remove the lock and unlock black knob and bezel. much easier to pop it back on AFTER the panel is set and secured. Trying to get that all to line up is a big huge pain. So $199.00 new in box PAINTED to match DONE deal $199.00 not bad. Thanks for the tip J/p :D

I forgot to mention about the sharp metal. I had some nice greasy cuts after the first door as well.

Tobtek- I ordered some yesterday morning from Kachina Cadillac in Scottsdale, AZ for about $60 each--painted already to match and with the chrome handle installed--just take out old and put in new! Should have them by Monday. I just gave them the paint code for my truck :D
I can't wait to get this cool shit on my truck--I hate stock, and I'm only had it 5 days. Yesterday was expensive though--here was my order list:
22" wheels on 305/40/vr22 Nittos, Escalade door handles, BellTech 2" shackles to level the ride, SS Front Bumper and Rear Bumper, Tail gate handle relocator, Billet grill and matching billet grill for SS Front Bumper, then my body shop guy will remove all the moldings, shave the tailgate, do the paint work, and put it back together. I can hardly wait.

Hey whats up with the SS front bumper i was thinking about putting one on my new truck how much are they and how hard to install. And do they come painted.
I think it's a direct swap, 8 bolts or something super easy. I was going to do this, however I opted to get the upper and lower painted to match on mine. My concern with the SS bumper was airflow to the tranny cooler. Not a big deal on a gasser, but on the dmax/allison - I heard they are better off with more airflow to the tranny cooler.

Hey buddy- I think they look bad ass. Not sure how they bolt on, from the sounds of it, they bolt over the original, but I'm not sure. I will know within the next week. They do not come painted, the guy who lowered my last one will be doing all of the work on the front and back bumpers. My guess is that they actually bolt to the original bumpers holes as a direct replacement. As for cost, from GM they are almost $400 for the front and another $400 for the back. Call Jay though, he hooked me up.

I've put the SS front end on my 2500 Q-steer crew, the air ducts at corners are not included or are the grilles (on the ducts or the middle grille), there's some bracketry too that's needed. I had a body shop do mine and paint the front grille shell the same as the body, install the Escalade handles, paint the tailgate handle, remove the labels, I kept the side moulding since it's the same color as the paint (white) and the chrome strip ties in the door handles and the 20" chrome Weld Evo Velocity 8's. Minus the wheels, it was about $1600.
With the wheels and tire combo, I had to cut back the inner fender liners back or the tires catch them when you turn and back up. It makes a hellacious noise.
It'll be in Parker Sunday morning to late Monday.

Sorry its a little late, but here's some more info on the door handles from the web, if anyone else wants to do it...
This guy made a site on how to do it...

You can get your handles already painted from GM on the web. They arent to expensive either. You can even get a painted tailgate handle and bezel.
Here are a few handle #'s. Make sure you check them out before ordering to verify they are correct and the #'s haven't changed as they sometimes do.
