I am taking a trip out to Lake Mead and I was wondering how far could you go up the lake passed Sandy Point or Pearce Ferry?
How far up before the river/Grand Canyon Start?
I know the water is down/low and there may be some underwater hazards.I think the last gas stop is at Temple Bar.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Temple Bar is the last gas stop. Pearce Ferry is closed and has been for a few years due to the low water. I don't think you could get very far past Sandy Point, maybe 5 miles max. Check out this link:

You can't make it any farther than the mouth of Iceburg Canyon (thats the one just to the north of Sandy Point). Kinda depressing when I saw a dust storm off a sand bar in Iceburg Canyon this year.
It will still be a great trip up that far and there is plenty of deep water.
