We took the boat out for the first time yesterday and everything worked perfect. I am very pleased with the way the olds (no comments) powered the boat. I only stood on it a little because the engine is fresh. This is the first boat we have owned where I can truly say my wife was excited about it, I mean really excited. She always wants to drive, she mentioned to me that not once did she think about work related problems. Now I just have to find a place to go on labor day. :coffeycup v-drive

There is nothing like the first time out in a old Flattie... :2purples:
I know I couldn't wait to run my Nordic. I had the hair on my kneck standing up the first time out. :2purples:

Yeah I clipped a rock to but fortunately not ruining our day. I'm going through Ron Hill to get a new one.He is also on ebay and is local so that makes it nice. Before the summer is out we will most definately meet up. later

I hope to meet up and take lots of pics of our boats together, that would be a one in a lifetime. I just wish Bob could meet up with us in his Lavey, that would be 3 of the same old Laveys in one place.

I will be there, probably still have the bent prop by then, I swear it slows you down bad. :) My boat is the official war wagon, so it must show up there.
