I'm with you Jeff I haven't stopped thinking about the run we had on the way back from AVI!!!! :jawdrop: :skull: :eek: :D
We Averaged over 105 MPH from AVI back to Havi side by side with almost no traffic. What a Rush to run 110 to 130 for twenty minutes ++.
Great weekend.

Well, sorry we missed you guys at the Avi. :( We were working for 7 days straight trying to get the boat done for the weekend, but unfortunately, it was just not in the cards. On Friday at 4:00am we decided to throw in the towel and call it quits. The boat is now done and is looking sweet. Hopefully in the near future we can all meet up and have some fun.
Glad to hear that you all had a great time and wish we could have been there.

Jeff said it all.. that was the best, longest, fastest(in the zone) ride I have ever been on..

You guys diced the river/lake up like a couple of pro's.. I don’t think I was ever scared except when Bling was coming down river at 140+ and some dude in a little jet boat was floating out in the middle of the river.. we were yelling at him.. finally I pointed up river.. and lol.... all you could see was a huge rooost and two sponsons hauling ass towards him.. LOL>> the dude turned white and got out of the way.. then we went to make the pass and the same guy was in the same spot.. I think either he was (bendrinkenalot) , trying to slow us down..(didn’t think that was really the case).. or totally clueless.. (I think that was the case).. other then that .. I saw peoples faces for a split second as we split the river.. Most of them were cheering.. I would have loved to seen it from their view.. But would not have traded with them for a second..
it was good to hang with all of you this weekend.. I had a blast.. its hard to be with out your boat.. but I had such a good time that it wasn’t an issue.. I wish my parker boys would have been there.. :confused: next time!
The Blings, BF (the melvises), HDD, Tom Slick, Akf, Addicted, dammm.. I cant remember all the people I met and saw.. but anyway... Looking forward to the next one and this winter at the KART TRACK/DUNES!!!

Alfanzo shot this little video on the run down. 98MPH, surely the slower part of our run. I was thinking this morning, what are the odds that we are ever going to get a open river at 6:30 in the evening when we can ever go from AVI to Havi at speeds averaging between 105 and 125. To bad Charley wasnt sleeping on his dock on his lot in the dirt, he would of got a huge boner when we blew under the bridge side by side at 120!!!!!!!

Okay, I stand corrected. The official speed was 143.8.
Now, if you caluclate the lag in the GPS speedo, and then multiply the circumference of the earth, divided by the distance of the satalites, you would end up at a number which would be your true land speed which of course equals 146.3
But sense the Bling camp is very modest and nevers exagerates about the speed of their boat, I will belive 143.8
146 still sounds better though!!!!!!!

Jeff, the little boat ran great and he loves it. He likes how it runs up the shore because because it's like an Air Boat.
The motors still haven't released yet. I have about 13 hrs on them and they should loosen anytime now.....

Bling, I gotta know...how close was I on the RPM guess?Very close. That boat is funny. I can take it up to 125, and back it down to 4700 rpms and hold that speed. It does not become completly efficent untill after 90mph. After 120mph the boat comes alive. I was amazed at how it just keeps pulling. When we ran it up to 160, it had maybe another 3 to 4 hundred rpms left. You would be surprised how fast things come up on you. We ran out of room and thats the fastest we have had it. I respect guys like Gary Smith in his Skater 40 and Mike defrez (sorry if I spelled that wrong) in his 34 DCB. Those guys in the poker runs out in Havasu can run consistently at those speeds, takes some skill.

I was sitting on the willow valley beach (bout 1 mile down from the avi) Sat afternoon when I heard a thundering roar from behind the rocks that block your view down river. A badass parade of horsepower went by and pretty much made my day. :D Would have replied sooner but just moved into a new house and haven't hooked up e-net yet (rockin the dial up)
