Its doesnt porpoise around 70 at all, it does a little at slower speeds(maybe 30-40), but not to bad.

The only time it does is in ulta flat water. Any chop or ripple it does not!
The boat takes an excellent set. :D

If anyone is looking for a perfect all around boat this is it !! I have the same one with a few other bells and whistles on it and I love it. I had never had a Cat hull and Daytona was very forgiving while I learned to drive it. By the end of the first day I had it in the mid 80's and feeling very in control. It rolls over chop and 4' wakes like it's a 30' + boat yet your only hauling around a 22' footer. :D :D
Also, Mine gets the most incredible gas mileage!!! I have 2 27gal tanks with a pretty modified 454 and I can go out 3 -4 times after topping them off.

You might have already covered this in a previous post but what does it cost to insure it for a year. How many hours does it have? When was the last time you had the drive covered? etc?

Cost us about $400 a year for full insurance with 1million liability.
Not sure on the hours, it has no hour meter.
Drive and engined serviced every summer.

When I bought I went through the same thing. You need to look it up as a 23'.

I bought the boat about 3 months ago.It is almost done.Im buying my first home and need to come up with some money ive blown over the last 4 months.I sold the boat and made enough to get into my house.Closes escrow on the 5th.After the 5th i can get another loan and buy another.I wont buy anything bigger than the 22' because of insurance.I still have my 565" chevy that will go right into one.I might be interested after the 5th.
