SWEET!!!!
Do you run a "roost boost" and or a droop snoot?

Droop with a place diverter.

Do you notice any performance loss without having as much "down" out of the gate?

I loose about 10mph with the tail full up like that. My best run are made with the nozzle about 2 deg above keel

I got a JC in my jet, want to change to a JG for obvious reasons. Was wondering what a droop and a roost boost would do? Obviously will have a diverter also. Can I just change out my bowl for a split bowl, do you know?

Does the water just evaporate before it starts to come down? I don't see it ending. Maybe there will be a sequel?

I'll post mine when I get home....Watch out 100ft plus

Overtons sell them water bags that the wakeboard guys use, but dont put in the back, place it as far forward as you can. Might even try 2 of them. then I think it will bring your bow down a foot or so and pop the stern up out of the water more. You know what I'm thinking? A higher rooster tail? I'm go to try it after I finish this BUD-LITE (24 PACKER)

Hey DK
If you have a one piece bowl you still can install a Place diverter. If you need or want a Droop then yes you need a 2 piece bowl. Any Berkeley J pump bowl will fit any J pump (JB and JG are the Two piece). Also Aggressor and AMT make bowl for the Berk. J pumps. G is a better find the AMT works good....and well we all know how i feel about the aggressor bowl, but that is my opinion. What ever you choose just have fun with it.

HEY DIMARCO....You can bolt a split bown on to a C setup. I have a complete JG pump sittin in my shop. It is complete with a new droop, diverter and race grate. Also don't forget what I always tell people. Don't go makin an assload of changes all at once. Go spend the bucks and get a stalker radar gun. That what I use to test pumps and impellers. I have a special place I like to go where the water is always flat and it is shielded from wind. Anyway, start with a baseline speed run, changes bowls and do another speed run. Make small changes to see where your gaining topend speed. Alot of boats don't need or respond well to droop snoots. Make sure when and if you install one that you check the installation depth and how far BELOW the the transome and bottom it places the droop and diverter. I have seen alot of installations that placed the droop and diverter/nozzle way below the bottom of the boat which created alot of water drag. Remember, everyboat is different and don't respond the same whuch is why I recommend small changes and test sessions. You can doo all this in one day as long as you have a little help and you have all your parts and tools with you. Just my recommendation. Just don't like seeing my buds spending valuable beer money on stuff that may not help them go faster... PEACE!!!!!!!!!!

We will have to imagine the tail as it was towed everwhere! No wait, paddled, no make that pushed, or was it just floating on the current! HA
