I'd really like to thank first and fore most Hackjob (Tyson and the Mrs.) and Flatbroke (Chris and the Mrs.) for putting on such a great event. I can't remember a time with as many great people together and not running into any jerks at all from that group at anytime. I had a ton of people even make that observation to me about our group that and asking how we knew each other and so on with out boring everyone. I would like to throw out some names to say thanks too, and thanks to the 13 who voted for my boat. I won you know! Once again and this includes your Mrs too or Mr. HackJob, Flatbroke, DanHurcules and Amy thanks for being sweet this morning, hope you won some cash. VictorFP your one hell of a guy and got a sweet girl Bonnevillebaby. Roostwear, gotta love that band :D BeautifulNoise the fastest slow person I know. Cyclone, what a beautiful boat. HalletDave, is that your hand on my  oh nevermind. Rivertard, dude, the hotel owes you big for cleaning the cobb webs off the bridge. HBjet and Lakes only both hot rides but didn't get a chance to talk with either much. Discocharger your a good guy sorry to hear about the tools. The Mayor another one of my neighbors I find out about having a boat Looks like all had fun. rrrr, you made a long trip and hope to see you next year if not sooner. WallyGator, too bad about the bad luck + people messing with you hopefully not someone from our group, and a bunch of others but its kinda a blur on names and stuff. If anyone knows the brothers from Southwind I still wanna talk to them if possible. Oh yeah and the only other Ranger to show up, I think John Hunt and his wife from AZ.(pic attach) And I feel real bad I forgot your name but you were real cool and your wife too, we made the run together from the Avi to the sandbar. The red boat..... Spicy Hot on the back. Sorry I took off had to load up and get to a b-day party.

We had a hell of a good time (as usual). Big thanks go out to Chris, Tyson, and their misses for making it even better this year! Met a ton of great people, and if I wasn't suffering from old age, I could remember everyone's names! Sorry to hear about the mishaps, I just hope everyone got home safe. Special thanks to Victor and Toni, was good seeing Victor again, and finally meeting Toni. (did you talk to Victor about the 28-9th :D )
For those that are so inclined, see you at FC2. 53 days and counting.........

I agree with everything you said, Vic and Toni are awesome people. I didnt get a chance to meet HalletDave, I heard he was lap dancing out there, will catch up next time Dave. Ron and Fonda, you guys are great, I think Fonda had too much fun. Steve and Debbie (I hope thats right, I met alot of Debbies) if not you know who you are, it was great seeing you all over, just another group of friendly faces. LakesOnly it was good seeing you too, finally putting a face to your name, you are a cool guy...take care of Bob up there ;) SouthWind boys, always good to see you drunk again! haha. I know there are more folks out there I was really hanging with, if you met me I was probably drunk but I still remember you and have no bad things to say about anybody, so if you talked to me, just know that I think you are great. :) I have no hard feelings for anyone, I think you are all like family, even though you ARE jetters. ;)

I'd also like to say thanks to Tyson and Chris for putting this on. The wife and I had a blast.
Once Agian I'd like to thank Victor and Toni if it wasn't for you we probably would not have been ready.
It was great getting the chance to finally meet some of the board members. the HBjets, wutwzat, FourQ, hothallet, I didn't get your name but the guy with the bad ass dever hydro and all the rest of you. You are all a great bunch of pople and made the newbies who knew no one going into this event feel very much right at home. We look forward to meeting more of you at future events.
I'd also like to give special thanks to the guys that towed us from up river saturdy when our MSD crapped out back to the beach. and the guy that helped us in the cove (dave?) I think you had the white/purple southwind? and who helped wutwzat tow my boat from the cove to the ramp while i brough the trailer down. As i'm sure you can imagine my wife was scared half to death dealing with the current and a boat with no power and you two definatly went out of your way to help. I did not get the chance to properly thank any of you guys. Thank you. we definatly owe you.

Melinda and I had a great time! This was my third CBBB and it gets better every year. Great people and cool boats. Met a few new folks this year and all were really nice. Look forward to hanging with you all again. Had breakfest with HalletDave and Sue Sunday morning and spent about two hours just talking. It was super cool. Had a great time in the parking lot as well. I love the bar but it is over rated and expensive. I hope everyone enjoyed my glam rock screams on Saturday night and for those of you who saw it I apologize for my outburst about the two guys who hit my table, knocked over my beer and just kept walking without "a sorry" or "I'll buy you another one". Didn't mean to get so pissed but I just thought that was really rude. I don't believe it was anyone from the group. Anyways had an awesome time! It was good seeing HalletDave, HB Jet, Cyclone (hang with him alot anyway), Tom Bandy, XClutchboy725, TahitiJet, Beautiful Noise, RiverTard, Dan Hercules & Amy, Lakes Only, CS19 and Shannon, Hackjob & Shannon and Flatbroke and Emily. It was also cool meeting MudPumper and countless others I can't remember right now. Good memories for sure! I'm also glad we could help get that CP back on the trailer and avoid another beautiful boat hitting the bottom.

Hotfish- Had a great time talking to you on the beach man. You've got one hell of a sweet boat there. You and Squirtcha and I should all get together sometime and go roost around. Sorry for sounding so opinionated when talking about Droop Snoots. You should use whatever works for your boat. It sucks that we have to spend all kinds of money to find out what works but I think you are in good hands keeping an eye on squirtcha and his set-up. Lord knows he does more than his fair share of tuning, changing loaders, adjusting the ride plate etc. Maybe you can talk him into letting you try his droop on your boat to see how it works before you cut loose with the cash. Just a suggestion. Anyways I was impressed with your boat in Hot Boat when I first saw it and am glad I finally got to see it in person. Nice meeting you bro!

Thanks for the kind words. We were in great company this weekend, it was an honor to be told you have a nice boat by the owners of boats that were way nicer then mine. Just make sure ya beat your friends when they stand on the fenders. I have been pushing my wife and kids around for years now trying to keep them from standing on the fenders... :lightsabe

Thanks to Brent, Brian, Travis, Ron and all the others who helped me launch and trailer the Root Beer Float.
Ron and Paul, you guys have real class.
Tom, thanks for the "E" ticket ride on Sunday.

Dan, thanks for the back adjustment.
Vic & Toni, it was great hanging out at the bar with you all, and Mike, thanks for entertaining us. I have not laughed that hard in a long time.
My friend Sue wanted me to say thanks to everyone for being so friendly and making her feel accepted.

well Toni and i finally made it home last night after an awsome weekend with sooooo many wonderful people. i cannot thank Chris and Tyson and their better halves for putting on such an amazing event, and all the sponsors and all the others that helped put it together. thank you so much.
Toni and are are so overwhelmed by the caliber of people we met and had the opportunity to hang out with. this event brought out the best. and we didnt even get to meet half of them. i for one never made it to the "hot rod" side of the lagoon to drool over those awsome boats, and meet the guys and girls that own and built them. but i did get toni to push me around in the parking lot after each day so i can see more of the rides and meet the parking lot straglers. i was like a kid in a candy store. so many incredible boats, and even more wonderful peeps that share the passion for them.
from the daytime festivities, to the night life, we had an incredible time. sundays attempt to make it to the sand bar failed, but im so glad we had people looking out for everyone. i for one never saw the brown CP that had the misfortunate breakage. while on our way back we did meet up with a small group were i saw hothallet, cylones parents and a few others and thought maybe thats were the CP was, but i never saw it. i hope i wasnt deemed one of the group that didnt stick around to help out. (not that i would be any help lifting) but i am allways willing to do anything i can to help.
a special thanks to Travis (HotHallet) for towing Paul (Lakesonly) to the nearest ramp after pauls fuel pump went out for the second time and was floating aimlessly. i had yet to make the ski tow on the rogers and had no way to tie a rope to the boat and felt useless. (first thing on the list to do/make).
it was definatly a weekend to remember and feel so fortunate to have met all the wonderful people we did, and look forward to meeting the rest sometime soon. (FC2 ?)
and thanks Wallygater for the cool video. you did an awsome job, and i even got to see our boat. our camara decided it wanted to be a storage box for unused film instead of making pictures, so it was cool to see our boat on the water again. thanks man.

Victor and Toni,
The whole family loved meeting the both of you, I can't say enough about all of the good people we met there at the bash. We only wish we would have had a baby sitter and we could have joined in on the night life...
I can only remember two people we would rather not have met...
That would be the owners of the lake lice that moved in on our anchor.
EVERYONE at that bash that we met were cool. Roger and Kim, Mike, Chris, Tom, Mike, Ron and Fonda, Dan, and anyone else that I met and most likely screwed up your name, excellent meeting you all. We hope to see you again at any event or just at the local lake or river. Next time I will take more video and try to include more action shots and boats.. I was pissed that every time a run was going on in front of the lagoon, I did not have my camera in hand. I would have like to get some vid of those wetting the bridge. Ahh Next time. We are sure to be there.

Vic, you and Toni are awesome people, my whole crew/family could not say enough about you two. If you guys ever need anything just let me know, I work in Anaheim, so I am always close. The jello shots were great, just sucks that people tossed their containers onto the grass and Toni had to pick them up, I was going to help her but she was all over them and my reaction time was really slow and she was much faster than me. :) Hope to see you two out there again real soon. The old colored Hollyes were suppposedly long-lasting. The new onse aren't as good. My drag racer buddy says they take 3-4 Holly pumps to the races just in case they fail in a 1/4 mile!

Our test stand has a brand new Holley red on it for testing purposes....2 hours of non-continous use and it's dieing off...6 psi when it was new and now it's down to 2-3psi...barely enough to chase the fuel up to the carb. So now it's time to get an Aeromotive or Product Engineering version.

Great! I'll probably run my pump two to three more trips and then replace it over the winter.

CBBB Rocks……. Hackjob (Tyson and the Mrs.) and Flatbroke (Chris and the Mrs.) We had a great time and we are definitely going next year. I have only been on the boards for a couple of months so we really didn’t know that many peeps. But we left feeling that we had met and made some really cool friends. It was nice meeting you all. Here are a couple shout outs from Lisa and I.
Danhercules
Dan you and Amy made us feel that we had known you for years. Your are “f”ing hilarious I think you made me pee myself a couple times. Get that sub running. I want to see you break dance on the deck.
Victorfb and Bonnevillebaby
Victor you and Toni are a great couple I wasn’t sure who knew more about the Rogers, Victor or Toni. But I was really impressed with the time effort and love you guys have for your boat. I love the color scheme it reminds me a cool lighting bolt shirt I had in the 4th grade. I guess it is a seventy’s thing. BTW thanks for the Jell-O shooters.
Nucking Futs and Fourq (Aka Southwind Brothers)
Tim, Shaun and Pops it was nice meeting you guys hopefully we well get to do it again soon. Thanks for the Southwind history and the shirts. Keep the Southwind legacy current.
HalletDave
Dave it was nice meeting you and the Mrs. at dinner and thanks for the tow after I had flooded my engine. RiverTard shouldn’t get all the credit.
RiverTard
Mike thanks for the entertainment. I fell on my ass when the guy from Avi came down and told you to stop cleaning the bridge.
LakesOnly
Paul nice meeting you and your girl. Your Southwind is bitchen. You and I should go fisting sometime.
HotHallet

Well, I finally showed back up at work today. Not that I did anything except show off my trophy and continue planning to win Best Gel @ CBBB 2005. Anyways thanks again Mr./Mrs. Hackjob & Flatbroke, great times and peeps. I hope you make it out to FC2 in October. I thought I read your names there, maybe by then a little sample of my future gel work might be ready. Worst case I can bring down the 86 CP from storage. I think its to new for CBBB, so I gotta use it somewhere. It kinda reminds me of Roostwears circus boat.

Ron, are you out there I figure by now you might be close to home and checking out the boards. Great meeting you and the wife, she was a great ambassador going around meeting everyone and doing her own thing. I hope you both had a great time and maybe you'll make the trip next year, oh yeah you got a sweet boat too. Hope your trip home went well, uneventful for me so that was good. Works still here, just planning the gel coat work on my boat and planning my victory ;) . Debating whether to begin the work or enjoy another couple weekends out.

Enjoy the rest of the season Jason, you can always work on it in the winter. Plus if you get a nice gel and chip it before the season is up, you will be mad.

Jaaaaaaaaason! We are home! :D
Wandered through Parker and Phoenix (spent the night at a friend's house), took the back way home through Camp Verde and Logan's Corner, up to Winslow, then I-40 to Mom and Dad's in Albuquerque. Stayed there Tuesday night, left yesterday afternoon and drove to Clarendon, TX, USA.
Uh, we stopped at Del's in Tucumcari again. :D :D Dang, they have good New Mexican food.
So this morning we picked up a '66 Ford F-100, had to adjust the clutch and fix the brake lights before we were back on the road. The ol' Ford towed the boat home at 70 MPH, I think it's a keeper.
Took forever to unload all the cr*p in the Ex, but now it's done and time for bed.
We had a GREAT time with all of you, what a bunch of fantastic people. Ready for next year? I am.... :D :D

You must not have seen the shirt he was wearing on Sat. night. The t-shirt had a sign on it that said gone fisting. I must have looked at 2 or 3 times to make sure it said what I thought it said. And yes once I realized what it said I was LMFAO too. :D
