Should I post this in a "boat" thread? If so, which one?
thanks! :D

I think the going rate for a boat like that would be $15k.

Good Luck. You should have no problem selling it. ;)

Ok, thanks,
It's just this boat is different. It is in perfect condition. They know their "blue book", but because it's a classic and all, I thought you all would know better.

Unfortunately, "perfect" on a used boat only means that it will get chosen first if it is properly priced with comps. It doesn't usually relate to a significantly higher price.
In addition, people will tend to swing to the top of the blue book for valueing an older boat, but not go much higher.
Disco colors too. Tough call. I think $15K would be a little high for it, but possible.

I like the "Scooby-Doo" colors. One day, this will be back in vogue.

That Hallett is not 24 feet, its 26 feet and from the looks of it I would think $20,000.00 would be a good asking price.

It is in great condition and they were offered $25,000 and they were wondering. It looks new, really.

I'm pretty sure that boat is the Hallett 7.9 EXP, which is 26 feet like Brent said. Those boats typically go for $15-20k in excellent condition, so if they truly were offered $25k they should take the money and run. Nice boat btw...

I would consider mine cleaner than that one and not quite as retro looking and I am getting very few calls. Its tough to sell these old boats right now. I would say $15,000-$18,000 because its over 25'.
