It seems that schiada flatbottoms are rather rare, i see daycruisers on the net all day long, but cant find any nice schiada flats, anybody have any experiance or know of anyone with one. The only person i talked to was the man who owned jetboat performance in Flordia.

My Friend Ray has a 67. It's a nice boat. They are not made to go real fast. I wouldn't go over 80 in it.

Why arent they made to go fast, cant you make anything fast with the right setup?, the guy at prime marine said he seen quite a few fast schiada flats even 100mph plus , how can some of these blown daycruisers hit close to triple digits and my flat cant?? Just curious

Don Due raced a Schiada flat in the K class way back when and absolutely kicked ass. I believe the Harpers have the original mold. These boats have no problem going well over 100. :2purples:

It's my understanding that the Harpers do own the mold, but the mold is on the roof a Schiada, and Mr Spindler is NOT likely to give it up. He is not making any boats from it, I think I could sell 3 of them right now.
If the Harper's do get the mold back I think it would be possible to get some boats layed up. But we'll see what happens.........

Set up for skiing, 454 Chysler (440 bored), tunnel with 2 edlebrocks, 4 bucket seats. Runs great , ~ 80 mph. recently bought and rebuilt a 77 Sanger Pickle fork, set up for skiing, ~ 100 + a little.
