Who makes and sells trim gauge kits for jet drives? I have an American Turbine SD-309. The boat company said the gauges were a waste of money because they don't work well and break easily. Is this true?

I have a hydraulic place diverter. The trim kit you can buy for it comes with some generic black guage, it looked ok but I have white Gaffrig's so the boyz at CP swapped me out(for an upcharge of course)so it looks great in the dash, but the problem I have is with the sending unit. It is kind like a gas guage with a cable attached to it. The cable always wants to slip in the cheesey little mount supplied. So to me the guage isn't the problem it is the sending unit.

That's what I meant, the sending unit (since they come together). Does anyone make or have any of you fabricated a better sender?

I bet the guys at Gaffrig could get you set up. I think there is a link to Livorsi marine, ( they make Gaffrig) on the ***boat website.
