$15 to get in with a boat at crappy dried up Folsom Lake. Oh and as a bonus they closed down all launch ramps except for 2, and you get to wait an hour in line to put your boat in and take it out.
Hell even Camp Far West is $13, and there's hardly any water left there either.....

I hear what you talkin bout Willis.. I also frequent Castaic and was rather unpleasently surprised. I guess it's better than it being closed down though...
cheap friends + gas prices + higher launch fees = one expensive little trip to the lake.. :( GJ

At Silverwood Lake,(in CA.) they just raised the fee's up last month, from $9.00 to $16.00 for day use only. That's for vehicle & boat.

I only had to pay 14 bucks for truck and boat at Pyramid...... Had to watch two Seadoo's crash into each other though... i like how Castaic corrals those guys in a little pen....

What you talkin bout Willis?
Hey,, are you the same Willis that used to go to Puddingstone with the jetboat,, pulled me around that lake a few times on the racing ski? Did Puddingstone match the Castaic prices,, I know one pass used to work at both lakes?

Wow...yeah, it's free here too. That is pretty high, I'm surprised that a state that advocates equal opportunity for all so much would charge launch fees that pretty much assure only the well to do can use the lake. So even if you have a 10' ft rowboat they are going to charge you $22?
