I'm looking for a room or reasonable house to rent for the weekend of the popker run. I've tried most of the usual palces in town and have been striking out. Anyone have or know of someplace for rent that has room for large boat parking?

My house is full for the weekend but I have room to park your boat if you need it. We are only about a mile up from Windsor.

Havasu Dunes. They have boat storage off site near Windsor Launch. Nice place with condos and pools and such. I stay there and like it.

I might just have an extra 3 unused bedrooms if you don't find anything else.
Plenty of parking space about 1 mile from Windsor by the cemetery off North
Palo verde and Aviation.

Is this your house Keith? We looked at a lot there about 6 years ago, but the cemetery was a little too close for me. Probably quiet though... :)

Looking back I should have bought it. It was 40k and I thought it was too much for a lot in Havasu...

yes, it's the first street south of North Palo Verde called Lockheed Bay, killer
view of the lake. I'm with you on the dollar value thing. About 10 years
ago, I was offered the lot behind me for $15,000 and I laughed. My buddy
built a house there 3 years ago and paid $150,000 for it. The one across
the street from me and one house down sold for $25,000 about 8 years ago, then went for $38,000 2 years later and I think its selling for $265,000 NOW!
Best neighborhood in the city.

My uncle sold a full acre lot with a full lake view located about a mile up from Windsor (close to my house now) a few years ago, and offered it to me first at about 50k. He only payed 21k a year before, and his wife would not sell it for any less and I turned it down. That was another BIG mistake on my part. I offered to trade my Harley for it but she wanted the $$$ :)
