Hello all. I need some help with my vonage hook up. anyone know how this works. I need help Please. :cry: :cry:
I have dial tone But I can not answer the phone. anyone out there..???????

You probably have a temporary number still. Did you just get it set up? It took them almost 4 weeks to get my number ported from SBC. I had dial tone and could call out but my inbound calls still went to my old line.
Go to vonage.com and log into to your account. You can check the status of the number transfer there. Plus, you need to go there and setup your 911 information too.

Hey John. Yes the number has been transfered to our shop. I can get the calls here the phone rings but when I pick it up. I can't hear them and they can't hear me.
when I call out it is very garbled ( sp ck) staticky. :cry:

Hmm. What type of internet connection do you have at your shop?
Check you bandwidth at www.speedtest.com It may be that your connection is slow.

There is no problem with the speed of your connection.
Have you tried resetting your Router?
How is your phone plugged in, is it a wireless phone? Try a standard phone.
Or, plug your phone into the router directly and see if it works better. If it does, it could be the wires or jacks.
