I went to the cathedral in the desert earlier this month.Was really cool there.I barely made the climb up the rope but was worth it to get to the top last year my uncle was able to park his boat right at the top of the waterfall they camped out there.

You had to go from the bow to the rope to reach it. That water was cold too.

The rope was at the water so boat wasnt needed.But i am sure it prob down about 5 ft from the first of the month when we were there.not the best quality pic but here is one

Howdy Dustin! Looks like another good trip. We're coming up next weekend (Labor Day) and staying the week on a houseboat called "Sunsation". Most likely will be draggin the Magic along behind. If you're up that way and happen to see us, be sure to stop by and say hello!

This will be my friends' houseboat, so I'm just along for the ride so to speak! The normal mode for this group is to get the heck outta Wahweap and get upstream as far as possible to get away from crowds and find good ski water. We're headed out Sunday late afternoon and will try to get past Antelope channel and find a beach before dark. Mon-Tues probably keep motoring to possibly hit the San Juan arm or who knows where... I'll try to get more detailed info from the group over the next couple days and let you know.

I do have to say that I have never ate so good or done that much boating in one weekend. I still have a good buzz about the whole experience!

Soooo Sorry about the "burn" Hey Deez,, another cool cave I forgot about is in Rock Creek,, on the west side of the main canyon. you can still get boats in there and it's more impressive, in my opinion, than the one you showed us. As far as another trip up or over this way, we should do one in Oct.. we'll do the houseboat on the beach thing. and NO MORE 99 Bananas!!

24, not shure yet. May only have 2 boats, so we might squeeze onto a small beach. Will know more later in the week. I do know that we will be at least Padre bay area or father up.

OK,, as we get closer, we are trying to figure out how many and who is going. Right now, the plan is to put the houseboat on the courtesy dock at Wahweap on Thursday night and head out on Friday. If anyone has any suggestions, let us know.
P.S. We finally found our pic disk so we will be FINALLY posting a pic or two when I get back into town.
