I've got a 96 Suburban with 155K miles and my ABS light is on. Should I worry enough to get it fixed? I was never a big fan of ABS brakes to begin with. Any ideas of what might be wrong or how much $$$$ to fix? Thanks.

First guess is a wheel speed sensor. Go to autozone and get it scanned for free, then tell me what it has. Btw, you will continue to have base brakes while the light is on.

Thanks for the info, I will see if I can get the code scanned. As soon as the light went on, I pulled over and checked my owners manual and it was clear in saying that my regular brakes were still working like you said, which was a relief. ;)

Well, what code do you have?????? Don't leave me hanging, I wanna see if I can diag this one from 3 thousand miles away. My record so far is 500.
