From the photos, looks like stock GM pickup would work, since it appears to be built from a GM pan, stock depth. As with any engine built, depth of pickup should be measured prior to bolting on the pan.

Now that you mention it the bottom is standard depth. Thanks for jumpstarting my brain.

Eddie's dad helped me with my first v-drive almost 20 years ago and now he is working the business, he wanted to find the little orange boat a good home and I took him up on the offer, if you have any info on it I would love to see/hear it.
