How do you make up for the drop between the steering tube that exits the boat and the actual steering arm? I have seen the swivel connection kits for the angle but donÂ’t you have to ultimately drop the steerting extension anyway since the tub is exting the boat straign and the extension is merely extended horizontally from the tube? Any pictures would also be great. Thanks.

The piece needed would be about 1/2 to 3/4 in diameter. It would have a hole for the bolt to go through. Depending on whether or not you are running a wedge will dictate what length it will be. I will find a pic of the proper piece.
