Has anyone converted over their standard rocker arms to rollers? The engine is now otherwise stock except for EMI exhaust. I'm curious about the type of horsepower gains - if any, to expect. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds all good in theory regarding benefits in valve guide wear, reducing friction etc. but I gained ZERO benefit in power on my old boat. I even went to 1.6 ratio on the 350mag. And if you do change don't buy the cheap crap. You get what you pay for. My preference is Crower, but others are fine as well.

Thanks for the info. I checked with Quality Performance Marine down here in Corona and they told me that while there would be about a 10hp increase that it would not translate into any real difference in speed or seat of the pants feel. :D

Hey Chuck is was great meeting you and the family. Thanks for the prop. Why don't you just throw the Whipple Supercharger on that 6.2 :D
Thanks again,
Chris

The 2000 Eliminator 22 Daytona I just bought has the HP-377 engine in it (same as 6.2) and it has the roller rockers right from Mercruiser. The 377 is an awesome engine engine by the way!
