Is there anyway that I can tell what kind of proppeller I have in my
Jacuzzi pump, or do I have to take the prop out?

Has any work been done to the pump that you know of?

I bought it about a year ago. The guy said it had been rebuilt recently but we all know how that story goes.

Quote from repair manual on page -13- :
CLEANING, INSPECTION AND REPAIR
Impeller and Wear Ring
1. Confirm impeller size by letter stamped on rear hub. Refer to parts list.
2. Inspect leading edge for nicks and deformation. Performance will be partially restored if you file edge back to original shape. Do not change basic contour of blade.
3. In cases of extreme debris damage, impeller may have to be replaced.
4. Inspect wear ring for excessive abrasion. Replace if necessary.

if its been rebuilt, the impeller may have been cut. Need to measure.
