This guy was running a mean as hell blown 455. I have no idea how he managed keeping it together but he didn't nurse that thing at all... :eek:

I can second that. he ran the sh*t out of that boat and it held up. I even heard him unload the pump a couple times and spike the rpms :eek: with the exception of blowing off a oil cap he had no problems. oh and I would definitely say he was well in excess of 5,000 rpm.

Ok, I wasn't going to mention the unloading thing. I was assuming he had a rev limiter because he was blasting through the rough water without a hint of mercy... :mix:
