I had never been in for a C-Section.
Man that was Cool  The Staff had it down to a science.. :D
I was given the option to stay behind the curtain, or to stand and watch the procedure. I chose to Stand and watch.
THAT WAS SOOOOO COOL :D
All went well, and I'm back to the Hospital... Just had to come home to shower and grab some clothes..
Later

CONGRATS!!!
I did the same during my wife's C-Section, I had to see what they were doing. I even took some pics. I thought this was a neat shot, hope nobody minds a little blood. No photoshop, that's straight from the camera...

my wife had 2 c-sections and I didn't get the option of standing on that side of the curatain. I would have been there for sure. This has to be ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PIC of a birth I've seen. The rounded hand framing the round face -- Truly amazing 79miller!

Thanks! It's an amazing experience. I looked over the curtain, saw my son's head, held the camera up in the air and took a shot. The contrast and colors were amazing. 30 seconds later he was out crying up a storm.
Congrats again Keith, good times!

Sorry Bre... I remembered about half way back to the hospital that I forgot to post his weight.
6 pounds 2 ounces / 18 inches long
Because of Julie's Diabetes, they took him 3 weeks early.
Both Mom and Baby are doing great.
Thaddeous waited till I got back to the hospital to spit up for the first time
All Over Dad :D :D

:frown: Last night they put Thaddeus in NICU. He stopped breathing while feeding. :frown:
The Doctors say that all SHOULD be ok, so we'll see.....
Back to the Hospital now.. Those recliners are soooooo comfortable.....

 Today the Doctor said that he might of had a touch of pneumonia. so they have him on antibiotics.
They took the IV out today and hep-locked the site(hopefully this means that he can come home Tues.)
Mom should be home tommorow. It will be kind of hard leaving him at the Hospital, but We both agree that it's better to leave him there an extra day instead of bringing him home and going back in a day or two.
He is eating well, and breathing fine. He should be at the lake by this time next year. :D :D :D If he's going to survive in this family, he will have to enjoy the lake
It's back to the Hospital for me for another wonderful night in the recliner.. :2purples:
Just keeping y'all posted..

Well Mom and I are home... Thaddeus is still at the Hospital.... His condition has been upgraded.. he is now in the "Almost Home" part of NICU. :D
They took another chest x-ray and the nurse said that it looked clear, but she was not a doctor so she really could not say if it was better or not.
Although they did say that he would most likely be sent home by Wednesday.
Thanks for all the nice comments from all of you. This is really like a cyber family :D

Nice to hear he is doing better. My boy was in NICU for a couple of days after he was born (2/18/04). Everything turned out great. I'm sure it'll be the same with yours. Congrats on your new addition. Our prayers are with you an yours.
