24 Daytona Performance?

What kind of experience does anyone have with a 24 Daytona? How fast at what HP? Any comments on the double-stepped hull in relation to the newer type? Anybody have a Bravo or better drive for sale? I need the transom assy too since it has an ALPHA now. I can buy a new transom setup if required tho. The motor will be the old 572 700HP out of my 21 Daytona Jet. It runs 96 on regular gas on the motor in the 21 with a good pump. Its run 111 on the sauce. The 1994 21 is for sale with no motor but everything else, the trick pump and billet stuff or a stock pump, for less. Peak HP is 700-720 at 6300 rpm, I probably won't install the squeeze but who knows? Anybody have a clue on the possible speed? Thanks for the help.... TIMINATOR

We didn't have a chance to get to Michigan when we were in New York. Just too long of a drive to make a day trip out of it.
