Dug up this picture I took back in June, at Sandbar in havasu and figure I would share with you guys. Flew my gas powered RC helicopter off the water near the sandbar. It was interesting, but experienced an tail rotor failure that resulted in a wreck in the water. Something different. Putting it back together again soon.

Sweet, I will keep an eye out for it next time were out there. I hope it runs better than my T-maxx. For a $500.00 why does it cost $1,300. They need to put a frikin warning lable on it " this toy may cause you to over spend "

Tell me about it....
My wife bought me one last year, I now own two t-maxxes. Has anyone ever used the track in Lake Havasu near the channel?

Cool pics Yates, looks like a Raptor, I always been temped to take mine out on the lake trips, but it's just one more thing to worry about, it's my "winter" hobby. Yes, they are wallet draining, but very addicting, here's a couple of my ErgoSS....Mark

Hobbies are hobbies. Can't have enough of them! I used to fly an TSK 46! This one is an JR Vigor 80. Has an onboard engine speed governor, onboard yaw gyroscope, carbon fiber and ball bearings throughout. Its powerd by a piston engine, running on nitro, methnol, and syntehic oils. I am working on a turbine powered conversion...times ticking...
I've flown for about 2 years, and have traveled and flown with an airshow team. For those that haven't seen one of these fly, you will get blown away with what these can do. Upside down, backwards, flips, tumbles, etc... Heres a pic of me "mowing the grass"
