If you are referring to the 2002 Mach 26, it seems like a really good deal...Owner is getting a big V boat, so he has only used it a couple time 19hrs...It has Big Stereo (3000 Watts), Platinum Hardware, Dana Bat-Boxes and Swim Steps, not the new DCB ones, Left hand Steering, two batteries, and all the options you can get. Here is a pic he sent me...Plus he has a buddy that works a Merc at Fond Du Lac that already upgraded the ECU's and other changes that came on the 2003 motors....I think it is great buy, but if I buy another it will be F26...I was sold on the F after looking at X Factor's Boat.

My mistake; don't know anything about that boat...but if it were my money and I was getting a cat I would get the two year newer 19hr Cat with the blenders....and let us I/O boys blow up drives trying to run around with you all day at 100+ speeds :) ...

That is a nice looking boat though, from the transom forward anyway. :p :D

The drawback is there's just no place for the casting stool or the trolling motor on a bass boat like that. :D

I'll tell ya right now that jm2drivers 26 impressed the hell out of me too.... those OB seemed to pack alot more air than my 26 with the IO and he's seeing 110mph gps with 2 guys in the boat.... thats impressive for a warrantied setup that you can extend to 5 years! :D

mid 40's would buy it I think...last time I talked with stan that is. If its still available? It has about every option you could want, other than a stereo...something to think about. if you need a boat that hits 115+ MPH. the motors have 30 hours on them!

Real big fan of the Blenders. Used to have a 83 -21foot omega with a 200 Merc and my Trailer plates read JETEATR . I keep telling the wife the next boat were getting will have Twin Blenders. She keeps reminding me the boat we have know only has 5hrs on it. WHEN AM I GOING TO HIT THE LOTTO.

I was trying to find the pic of the 26 that for forsale in the Elisnore area with a I/O...may have been at Tony's place  there were a few other boats in the back ground in a rigging bay...as though it looked. This was like a week ago I saw it, you may want to give him a call, was advertised VERY cheap...in the 60K I think

Jrocket

I also saw that one for sale in Elsinore.65K or so,tandem trailer,502efi?,red/yellow and white. It looked like the steering was on the right side with hand throttles.I didnt care for that myself but oh well.I liked the colors though.I would imagine it needed more HP under the hood.My friends Mach26 with stock 500Hp Efi is barely getting by for my liking. You have to have some good HP in a big cat.(IMHO)...... :D

I looked for someone to insure Stan's boat. Most of the time I didn't even get farther than saying it's a DCB Mach. They would cut me off in mid- sentence with the big "sorry we do not insure Mach's". If it went farther the ole question of "what's the top speed?". (I guess I didn't low ball it enough - he he.) Well eeerr ummm 100?. "Sorry - we don't insure boats of that top speed" I gave up.

Now Stans boat is back down at DCB for sale. The price went from 45K to 55K....Maybe a good price, but when you figure in your insurance, then forget it.I'd rather go with a new Mach26 than that deal....

Yep I'm think’ in the same thing. 45k good deal more than that, count me out. If you don't have the green backs or want to refi your home. You and the seller is outta luck. That makes the potential purchaser group even smaller. Which brings up a question. The insurance problem is not going to get better so what's gonna happen to all the used mach's for sale in the future? Even if I did pay cash - I would want to insure it. What happens if you crash it or it burns up or someone steals it. (o well that sucks?)What a shame if that killer boat set's for sale for another year. eek!

The sad thing is, these insurance companies have no trouble with performance vehicles....
They run faster, and are much more likely to get stolen or wrecked...
A boat is hardly ever in a wreck, LORD willing, and in Kentucky, only used about 6 months tops...
The price I got was $3500.00-4500.00 a year, and I told them it had a 454 in it.Go figure...

Very very cool. I am happy for you. That is an awesome looking boat. I too think your trailer is bitchen. Go with the quad axle. Is the deal 100% complete?
I have a 28 pitch non-lab 4 blade that you are welcome to try.

I'd like to take you up on the prop offer!!Problem is,your so dam far away from me and I bet the prop is at your house.Right? Are you coming out this way at all this week or close to here? You need to move out this way, closer to the tracks and river... :D :D

Jrocket,
The prop is at my house.
I have been riding about once per week. I am having sugery this thurdsay to fix my collar bone that I broke riding. Therefore, I will be off the bike for about three months. It's a good thing that it is now river season.
My boat is great. No changes, just more of the same.

Rocket,
I know I am a little late here but CONGRATS bud! The boat is super nice and you are going to love it! When we were out last weekend the water was some of the shittest water I have ever seen in Parker! The Mach loved it! So did I, drinking water out of a open top cup @ 80!

RR, what's your best MPH. 100 on gps. It was three weeks ago (second week in boat) Me and the Mrs. on are honey moon. Full (as in just on the water full) tanks, one full cooler. It was right at 5,400 ish RPM and I pulled it back. I think it would have gone faster because it was still pulling, just haven't had the chance to run it hard again.
Andy
Did I hear right? You are now the proud owner of a Mach as well?

DBM
04-16-2003, 05:24 PM

The engine accesories are being powder coated. The valve covers, air cleaner and Intercooler are getting repolished.
The boat should be ready around may 25th. I will post some pictures when its ready for rigging.
BTW, how much did you pay for your ride, just curious.
