Just a bit of trivia from the LHC paper this AM:
Over the 3 day weekend LHC police made 169 arrests, 108 were from CA, 35 from LHC, 20 from elsewhere in AZ. 110 of the arrests were made in the channel. 95 of the arrests were alcohol related.
The Mohave County Sherrif's office reported that 22 DUI arrests were made, 14 from CA

Considering the size (population) of California and the size of LHC, LHC percentage is higher. You'd think LHC residents would know better whereas alot of the Californians are young dumbasses! :cool:

also the majority of arrests were in the channel.... that is the easiest place to get nailed by all the LE on boats, foot, atc's, ....... :supp: :supp:

I bet a lot of them were minors in possession. Easy ticket to hand out at the Channel and the sand bar. Had a friends daughter and four of her friends get hit in the channel two years ago. He had to pony up about $2500 :eek: to get them released and it wasted a whole day.. Got caught at 10:30 and they were finally released at 9:00 that night. :frown:

Under age possesion of alcohol and under age consumption of alcohol are BY FAR the highest number of arrests in the chanell followed by indecent exposure and then there was the one couple going at it in the back of a boat..."public display of a lewd act". Christ man, get a cuddy.
