Hard to tell with the camo paint scheme. Don't think its a Sanger though.
To much arch across the deck and transom. Dunno
Dude, That thing got a Hemi in it?

Camo..? :D
Thats dirt over an interesting paint scheme. see the three forward pointing "spears" under the dirt.
Yes it's an auction. I don't know very much yet. I know of the family.
There is a ton of old Offy stuff, cosworth, general indy stuff and so on.
There is an old school hydro up for grabs also.

Did this guy have a wherehouse or something? I am getting the feeling there is a TON of stuff available. I would be cool just to walk around and check it out.

Get us more info so we can attend. From what little I know about Sangers, that bow definitely looks like my old one. Now since there is a hydro N class (flat head power has boat motor mounts) :( , and that suggests that the owner liked circle racing, chances are good that that flattie is a circle boat, especially with the optional blower (K boat) but you need a better picture of its underwater hardware and stringer area. Good luck and someone buy that Gurney mill for their v-drive! Hemis are dime a dozen!!! :D

I've got some work to do. The original auction was in 2002. I think quite a bit of the stuff was unsold. I just don't know as of yet where it all went. I will see If I can get a lead. As it was shown on the results page for that auction, only some of the cars and the chris craft were sold. Hmmm.
Anyway here are a few more pics.

I'm not sure but it looks like a sanger to me. I wonder who built that hydro? looks like some history there.

Well, here's a big chunk. Still no mention of the where most of the stuff went including the Sanger. The Hemi was noted by several as a "Richard Petty Hemi"

Don't have any idea about your mystery Sanger, but I got a couple hours of viewing pleasure out of that vintage hydro link, very cool stuff.
