Reminds me of what mine looked like when I first bought the boat! The wear ring(?) hadn't worn quite as far through the impeller as that one, but there was still a ton of scrap aluminum. Jack managed to save the housing, but the shaft, bowl, and impeller were history. :2purples:

What happened was the front bearing gave out and everything slid forward, causing the impeller to self destruct :220v:
When you slide a new impeller on the way it sits now there is about 3/4 inch gap from where the impeller should meet the shaft :jawdrop:
Oh well, Duane from HTP is hooking us up with the parts asap so we can get her back in the water :D
too bad you didn't see my post from a couple of weeks ago, I have a complete JE with diverter, electric trim and all the cable sitting in my garage.
The pump, from what I understand only has about 20 hours on it after a rebuild. The impeller appears to be a brand new A2.

noticed your add but the owner wants a new style diverter and from what I here taking the suction out of the boat on a JE type is a royal pain :2purples:
did sound like a good deal for your pump though!
let me know if he's interested in the pump without the diverter or if he needs the housing, I'm thinking about parting it out anyway.

I will let him know but he just wants it in the water asap
This winter when the river freezes we are going to tear it down and add some good parts to it from Duane @ HTP
They have some good #'s on a Taylor JE pump conversion adding a snoot, ride plate and shoe, and a aggresor bowl :D :D
no biggie wet, just thought I'd throw it out there as an option :)
