It would seem to me that EVERY message boards Jets section is 5 times larger then the prop
section.. It's my intention to band us prop bretheren together to have ONE
GOOD PROP forum on
the net!! Even on ***boat.net you see the v-drive guys wandering into the jet
section just
because the v-drive section is so incredibly slow.
If you have any tech questions, or if you just want to make fun of that jet guy
you passed on
your way in here feel free to post whatever you like, but I swear to you this
forum will not be

Sorry guys, I'm just learning how to do this graphic editing shit. This one kinda grew on me. I think maybe we should have a Keg Toss at BBSPIV for all you guys with the need to throw your beers. This of course will be much easier for me to avoid than individual cans and I will have less of a chance of being beaned.

I am trying to figure out with whom to align myself. There are different rival factions. You have jets vs props, Jets vs V-drives, Outboards vs V-drives, Outboards vs Jets, Outdrives vs Outboards. I do have to say that a nerve has been touched by the whole BBSP thing. I am willing to make a Wager with Wicky. Quarter mile at the BBSP. You can name the price. Simple clunk it in gear and run 1/4 mile. We can make this fun and keep a running total on Outboards vs Big blocks. Are you game/

Living over 900 miles away from speed alley, I thought it would be cool if I could rally up some fast boats (inboards, outboards, whatever...)while I was on vacation in Havasu. Very few fast boats in Boise, ID!!
The whole concept of Big Block spanking is a joke to begin with. The honda anology is good. Here's this 2.5 liter winding bastard vs raw torquey hp. The amazing thing is most of those 2.5's spank 97% of the Big blocks on your everyday lake. I would love to place a bet against your boat. Unfortunately, I'd be better off putting my money all on red on my way through Vegas to Havasu. I look forward to checking out your boat as well as watching it run against some of the faster 2.5's out there. Hell, my motor still has the oil injection on it. No comparison for a 564ci Blown Keith Black motor.
Anyway, I hope a lot of Big blocks show up for the BBSPIV. It's all about being on vacation for me and it doesn't get a whole lot better than Havasu in late April.
P.S. If you really want to bet, may I suggest that the money that is put up be given to Charity say maybe the HTM fund??
