A couple of us from the shop made the drive out for Saturday.
Thought it was well worth the time to drive out.
Was really impressed with the diversity of manufacturing on the buggies.
Just like the boat business.
Everyone and their brother is making one.

Buggies are cool, except for the gold plated (wtf) King or Fox bypass shocks. Maybe its just a glare off of something else, but sure does look aweful.
Also, whats up with all the poseur trucks? Its like all the ricers...all show, no go.

Yeah the gold plated buggy in my opinion looked liked shit. Other then that pretty good show. Didn't bring my cam so keep the pics coming.
Met up with a few of the ***boat peps out there. They were on a float down the isle.

Great show, I didn't know what was better all the cars or the trim runnin around. Extreme Performance booth was off the hook as always. Hopefully some of the other manufacturers will step up to the plate for the next show and actually put some effort into their booths.

It was clearly the ONLY full blown commercial presentation in the entire show.
And it really stood out.
But you can bet they paid dearly for it.
Did trade shows for 10 years, and flying cars doesn't come cheap.

Gotta agree the Extreme had an awesome display. What makes this show stand apart from most trade shows, is that their not required to use union labor for all the set up like most conventions. Hope they don't outgrow the OC Fairgrounds because most builders wouldn't be able to afford the extra costs associated with union labor at most convention centers.
